Our History & Team Members
Inception & Experience
While Next Version Labs inception was only in early 2024, the core team members have been involved in the space for many years. With a focus on building products in the blockchain space, our global team has been working together since 2020 in various capacities. NVL is a culmination of that time and brings together a lot of the experiences and ideas that were conceived during that time.

We are a small but highly effective development team where each member's expertise and dedication drives us forward. Our team's strength lies in our ability to work seamlessly together and directly with partners and clients, delivering results on tight schedules and in-budget, ensuring that we consistently exceed expectations without compromising quality.
The team is made up of 5 core members. Each member brings unique experience and expertise to the table. Our combined experience spans traditional finance, cryptocurrency, product design, development, and database management.
We believe that our combined skillset allows us to deliver the best possible products and services to our clients. We are passionate about our work and are committed to exceeding our clients' expectations.
Tim
Founder, DevOps Leader, Product Manager, Product QA and Testing
Prior to joining NVL, Tim owned and operated multiple businesses, including a Web2 development company tasked with designing and coding websites, back-end systems, and databases.
With over 20 years of Trad-fi trading and 10+ years of experience in the crypto-space, Tim has a deep understanding of both traditional markets and crypto markets as well as trading products and user requirements. This all translates into better product design and QA.
David
Founder, Product Design, Business Development, Product QA and Testing
Prior to joining NVL, David owned and managed multiple traditional bricks and mortar businesses as well as a centralised crypto exchange, which required managing logistics for large teams as well as designing systems for product and task tracking, learning about new regulatory compliance requirements etc.
Joining the crypto-space in 2013, David has a good understanding of the space and in 2015 he published a book about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. Focused mainly on education in the space in the early days of crypto, David's experience translates well to help ensure products are easy to use and intuitive for new users.
Paul
UX / UI Design
Paul is a professional UX Designer, with years of experience working with hundreds of clients in both bricks and mortar businesses and the financial sector.
With his vast experience, and working closely with Tim and David over the last 4 years, Paul has been instrumental in product interface design to ensure User Experience and User Interfaces are intuitive to the end-user for the best possible outcome for the products.
Angel
Lead Developer, Full Stack Developer (Solidity, User Interface, React, dB etc)
Joining the team from the start, Angel was initially tasked with implementing the product designs produced by Paul.
It soon became apparent that Angel possesses a deep understanding of Solidity smart contract language and the structure required for proper product design and security, which soon lead Angel to taking over as the Lead Developer at Next Version Labs.
Angel is usually involved in late-stage product design, working closely with Tim and David to ensure products are designed and coded efficiently and with security in mind.
Kadu
Database and Backend Management
Kadu has been heavily involved in the crypto space since 2013, as a trader and KOL he has been involved in multiple crypto projects over the years. Initially joining the team in 2020 with the view to help ideate early products, Kadu's main tasks revolved around product fit and developer/community outreach.
With a passion for coding, Kadu also has experience in developing trading bots and databases, which has led him to managing non-critical backend operations for NVL, including designing and developing bots for certain on-chain/off-chain tasks and developing and managing database integrations.
